Workshop experience – Find your colours
In January 2023, the new workshop concept “Find your colours” took place for the first time with four women, some of whom had never met before. Everyone had prepared themselves with reflection questions on the subject of colour and style. We started with a get-to-know-you session, in which we specifically addressed the participants’ challenges with regard to their daily questions on colour selection, style and materials as well as special occasions/events.
After a brief introduction to colour analysis, in particular which aspects have an influence on our presence, we focused on the colour system and experimented with light values, temperatures and intensities for each of the participants in turn.
Each participant recognised the different impact of the choice of colour: what suits one personality better and makes it shine and shine more strongly, may make another personality fade. Was dem einen Frische ins Gesicht bringt, überstrahlt den anderen. And what brings calm and strength to the other person makes the next invisible and colourless. It was playful and fun experimenting, analysing, marvelling and gathering knowledge.
The participants concluded that they had seldom experienced themselves and others in this way or perceived their eyes so consciously.
At the end, everyone received their individual colour passport with five of their best colours. It is a wonderful opportunity to get to know me and my work. For those interested, it is a first step to go deeper with a complete and personal colour analysis, in which we analyse the entire colour spectrum (>20 Colours) and how to combine them optimally. This also lays the foundation for the style analysis, in which we fully stage the personality in terms of colour and style.
